I currently have a simple WCF webservice that runs in MS Azure. It is written in C# and stored in Visual Studio 2010.
The service spawns a thread which executes a loop from another class . The thread needs to run indefinitely. However, because the thread is run direct from the webservice, it eventually expires. This is not what I need.
I posed the question in the link below and the suggested answer was to move the thread to a Windows service.
Please remember the following:
1. This solution needs to work in MS Azure.
2. The solution needs to be deployable from VS2010 directly to Azure.
2. The solution is written in C# and VS 2010.
