Anki 2.0 is an open-source flashcard software whose decks interface with the WWW. I would like to have an Anki clone created, but I want the cards to be presented in a different order, and I would like to have a different user input.
The essential flashcard is a 2-sided card. The fields include: Image, voice, text 1, and text 2. The user can select which fields are to be hidden. It is possible for the user to click on any field and edit that field. When 'show answer' is clicked, the missing data is shown. The user may click 'Again' / 'Good' / 'Easy', to express how well they believe they've done.
The essential input method is OCR. There is open-source OCR, seen here: [obscured] /p/tesseract-ocr/. The workflow is:
1) Take a picture of the text.
2) The text generates a translation.
3) The user edits the text and the translation.
4) The user attaches images/sounds.
5) The user creates the card and places it in a deck.
