From the supplied 2D-drawings of a motorcycle chassis, create a parametric 3D-CAD model that can be used for further development and analysis.
The drawings supplied are of a chassis design that is available on the internet, however, to facilitate further planning and engineering analysis of the chassis for road-going certification in Australia, a 3D model is wanted.
Your brief is to create the 3D model of the chassis using the supplied 2D drawings.
Absolutely essential is:
1. The model needs to be configured to permit the neck rake angle to be edited (currently 35 degrees shown in the 2D drawing). The desired range is 25 to 35 degrees. The connection of the neck tube to chassis backbone must obviously change to reflect the rake angle.
2. The model needs to be configured to allow me to edit the rear wishbone offset from the centreline to allow for different rear tyre widths (currently shown in the 2D drawing to suit a 200mm rear tyre). The desired range is 140mm to 250mm. You ...
