I use a Macintosh, on which I have become a great fan of Ulysses III (and formerly iA Writer) to write documents in Markdown text (.md files).

With an app called "Marked", this can be turned into nicely laid out documents that I can then save as a PDF.

Sadly, the built-in CSS styles of Marked are limited, especially also given my own personal limitations (I don't understand CSS enough).

Long story short:

In the future I would like to do all of my writing with Ulysses 3 and create the respective PDFs with Marked. Most likely, over time I will need a range of of CSS style sheets, namely

- letter / fax (not sure if that should be one or two)
- CV
- memo / proposal
- invoice
- column / essay
- book (for ePub)
