Looking for a person skilled with databases (particularly, mysql). My website runs a forum with phpBB (v3) and a store with CubeCart (v3). Currently, when a user "registers" on my website, they are creating a username and login on only one particular platform (either the forums or the store).
I would like to develop a unified login for users who are browsing the site, that allows users to create an account and automatically stores or duplicates the information in the phpBB database as well as the cubecart database. In this way, users will not have to register repeatedly and I will have one database of users.
I envision the proposed solution to involve either directly integrating the two different web packages so that they use the same database for storing logins. Alternatively, I wondered if perhaps a script that duplicates new entries in one database and replicates them into the other. I'm open to any number of strategies that the developer chooses to employ. ...
