I'd like to offer people screensavers composed of close-ups of my watercolor paintings.
In my dreams they would be:
PC and Mac
Downloadable self-installing files
Not huge files
Composed of gently fading and/or scanning images in sets. Idea is for them to be interesting, colorful and easy on the eye/peaceful.
I've spent some time online trying to sort out the best way to do this myself. I'm a reformed techie with extremely outdated skills and worn out patience - but no fear of lower-end technology. I'm a solid photoshop user and familiar with HTML and used to code for a living - in the dark ages. Now I'm much happier with a paintbrush!
I'd love to have someone sort out or share how to do this, make one (or some) for me, and - if possible - tell me how to do it so I can make more of my own. The creative part would be fun for me. Hopefully this doesn't involve learning Flash or buying some multi-$100 software! I plan for them to be free downloads from my new site-a way to connect ...
