I have a small SQL Server job that I could use help with, as long as the cost is reasonable.
I have a customer who has a SQL database with a .NET front-end. They have a server and some laptop users, all with the same DB. The problem is that they used Identity Seeds (incremental autonumbers) as the Primary Keys (PKs) for the tables, so these keys are duplicated across every installation. They want to automate stored procedures so that when a laptop is brought back to the office and connected to their network, they can synchronize the data.... upload the laptop data onto the server, assign new PKs as it goes, while keeping the old ID field PKs intact, then download any new info from the server to the laptops.
Here are the steps:
