I have a demo coming up next week, where I have to generate PDFs from XML. Well, a bit more complicated than that, more like voting ballot layout from contest descriptions. I am a pretty good programmer, but: A) I am a Cocoa newbie, B) I've never played with PDF, C) also need to code a website that generates given XML in Rails.
The demo is a week from now. Oh, and I have a family, work from home, so 24/7 hacking is not an option.
I'd love to have someone help me out with my Cocoa app. The skills would include doing text layout (i10n, funky fonts), PDF generation. I'd love to read pieces of HTML into AttributedStrings, and lay those out as PDF. I will use this as a command-line tool from the web site. The UI would be minimal, used by us for rapid debugging.
I'll continue using and maintaining your code after the demo.
