We need a VB database to automatically retrieve from Excel upon selection. The database must be able to retrieve data from a closed workbook / spreadsheet on a server.

Note: A non disclosure agreement must be signed and the project will need to be done in 97-2003 and 2007-2010 Excel.


Main: This is the main page (worksheet) where all data will be placed.

There is a command button “PLC CARDS” which opens a GUI, that lists all the cards that can be used. All cards are listed on the CardSheet (worksheet) that will remain in the ACADE_Main workbook.

Don’t know if this is possible:
When a card is selected (For example: 1769-IA16)
The program will need to go to a specified location (c:\****) and open up the 1769 workbook which is stored on a server, then open the IA16 worksheet and retrieve the data and place it in the ACADE_Main workbook Main worksheet.
