We are looking for a candidate who could perform billing functions for our durable medical and home medical equipment division. This would require experience using the Brightree software, Medicare billing standards, private insurance billing standards, etc. Our staff would enter the claim information on site. This position would track the claims from that point forward following up on all issues to claim payment. This would involve requesting additional information from doctors, calling Medicare and insurance companies for clarification on denials and communicating with our staff through the Brightree system. They also would be counted on to help fine tune the entire billing system so that our staff can become more and more efficient and productive.
Our organization focuses on both orthopedic bracing and traditional medical equipment sales and rental. So, experience with anything from diabetic supplies, to hospital beds, to respiratory products would be helpful.
