I have a rough draft -- rough, as in there are sentences in paragraphs expressing the thoughts as transcribed from my talking.
But it needs polish, not just proof-reading, to make it readable and accessible by a general audience.
I usually do a first quick pass of the edit, but as a former editor, know I would need to spend more time to make the ideas flow and word-choices more crisp.
The style is not academic or journalistic, but designed for a popular audience.
It's a fictional "story" used to describe a business concept -- similar to Art of Profitability or Who moved my cheese.
Please explain how you calculate your costs and what your turn around times are. The draft probably won't be done for another week or two, but I wanted to start vetting potential editors now.
