Hello, I have a requirement as per below:
1) From an Excel 2010 column of alphanumeric data, strip any alphabetic characters away, leaving only the numeric characters. eg C1234 would become 1234, A6759 would become 6759, BEL2354 would become 2354
2) From the remaining list of numeric characters, sort them in ascending numerical order.
3) From the sorted list, produce a list of the missing numbers within the number range. eg cells containing the numbers 3,4,5,6,8,9,10 - the missing number is 7

Hi, the example was just a small sample. We will have large lists up to 2000 numbers at a time. The number ranges will vary, and what we will be wanting is a list of all missing numbers within the number range, of which there could be quite a few.
We want a macro/program written so we can run it as often as we like against the new number set we have loaded into a column.
