Two fairly small projects involving Excel and Google Spreadsheets to help a small real estate team do a better job of tracking sales, appointments and lead sources.
Project 1 – Google Spreadsheet for tracking appointments and sources sales
We currently use a collaborative Google spreadsheet in which we track our sales. The data in the sheet is summarized in several tables. We need to make two enhancements to this file: (1) We need to add an additional sheet to this file where we can also track each appointment (date, name of prospect, address of property) and the results (several choices from a pull-down menu). The appointment data would then be summarized in a separate table so that the team leader can see how many appointments there are each month and the outcomes (ie, how often do we win the business, lose the business, no decision yet, etc).
