Deliverable: To build a MS Access 2007 .accdb application (UI) that is used as a front end to control importing from MS Excel 2007 and exporting to a series of 'linked' lists online with a standard SharePoint 2007 Team Site.
Business Case: A web based 'corporate' data grid holds fitness details for approximately 1000 members on 10 individual reports. Unfortunately, the raw fitness reports are available only to us via a copy and paste from a Internet Explorer browser window into an excel 'template'.
Problem Statement: Approximately 15% of the data changes weekly and we want to expand from 10 to 25 SharePoint lists up to date at weekly intervals. Currently, the process is to delete the existing list to make room for a new one. Importing a new spreadsheet directly into SharePoint to create a custom list is typically used.
