We are looking for someone who can design, draw up plans and build a prototype of a free piston stirling engine with linear alternator for solar dish electricity production.
We are aiming for a 3kW unit which looks something like this [obscured] /how_the_free_piston_stirling_engine_works.html
We are hoping for something with as little moving parts as possible, to minimize the wear and tear, increase durability and minimize the need for servicing. This paper seems to be onto some good technology [obscured] /Pubs/TechRpts/2007/EECS-2007-172.pdf (removed springs from the free piston engine and substituted them with magnets).

- as little moving parts as possible - using permanent magnets instead of springs would be perfect
- durable (has to run in harsh weather conditions for several years without the need for servicing)
- 3kW electrical output power from the built in line...
