We have tried the JoomlaXTC Analytics tracking module and while we get the tracking data fine in Google analytics, we cannot seem to get conversion data to track correctly. Tried /checkout.result in the module and in Analytics as the conversion URL and also tried adding code to a few pages. Can't get it to work. This is likely because sh404SEF URLs changes the entire shopping cart to simply index.php
We need a way to track conversions. Either that is putting the code snippet on some PHP page's code or perhaps changing the final confirmation step of Virtuemart to go to a physical confirmation page with a direct URL like confirmation.html instead of just staying on index.php
Hoping to find someone who has done this before and knows exactly how to fix it.
We have a highly customized Joomla 1.5.23 site using Virtuemart 1.1.4 shopping cart (modified).
