This is a Google analytics problem with self' referral because of a 301 redirect
recently i did a 301 redirect in my entire website from non [obscured] www, 301, reason is because google pagespeed only works with www, i stopped pagespeed for now (gave me trouble) but anyway i will keep the redirect to [obscured] case i put it back; problem is since i did that in google analytics, i have the latest analytics.js , in referral sources i am getting domain.com as a referral to [obscured] , and that obscures the real referral!
i read in analytics info and it says that a 301 redirection should not obscure the real referrer but with me it is happening; I have tried to use firefox to see
the real referrer when i go to domain.com and it does a 301 redirection to [obscured]
I am also using this
to see the header
and if i use that
it says its indeed a 301 redirection
from domain.com to [obscured]
so then i dont understa...
