I need help! I produce a popular web series that's made for sale, it's not a big money maker, but it's how I make rent. A few months ago, someone from youtube, whom I've never met, or had any idea who he is, began posting parts of it on youtube. I filed a copy right notice and took it down. Just today i receive a copyright counter notice claiming that he is in good faith not infringing my copyrights. Keep in mind this is a person whom I've never met, let alone have any legal claim to my copy rights! Youtube ask me to file an injunction at a court, or else they will re instate the infringing material.
Here is the problem, i do not want to disclose my personal information, as well, I want to protect the identity of the actresses who were involved. (so they won't be subject to cyberstalking) I got a feeling that he filed the copyright suit just to force me to give out our personal information.
