I will send you a personal bank statement in which every expense has been catogorized with a two digit code. For example a grocery bill would have the number 20 next to it. A typical statement should have 75-90 transactions on it. I would like to be able to send the document to a U.S based fax number if possible as I have a fax at work.
The virtual assistant will then add up the totals for each category on a simple excel worksheet and send the household manager a report showing how close the expenses are matching budget. If the expenses are less than the monthly budget, the report should carry the excess to the next month. It is also assumed that the VA will make sure that the total spent for the month matches the bank record to assure accuracy.
Furthermore, the VA's monthly report should use direct language to enforce the budget until it meets goals. e.g. A report might say... your clothing budget is getting out of hand... you must immediately stop such behavior and ...
