I am looking at developing a website that allows coworkers (past and current) to submit a "secured" peer review for the user. Secured means that the user will never be able to see what the peer review says. Potential employers would then pay to see the "secured" peer reviews prior to hiring someone.
The idea is that references focus on workplace superiors and are oblivious to what the people that worked 'with' that individual have to say.
Users would send a request to coworkers to fill out a survey regarding
the user (Ie. the peer review). Users will be notified when someone
has submitted a peer review, but will not be notified who submitted
it. When an employer requests a number of peer reviews from a user the
reviews will be randomly picked by the website. For example, if a user
has 8 peer reviews "secured" and an employer wants 5, the 5 will be
selected at random, by the website.
