This integration needs to be between two Learning Management Systems,As far as I understand,LMS 1 is to send a notification (via SOAP/XML) to the LMS 2 on completion of a user course, containing the username and the course result.
On the LMS 1 side, this is simply configured as entering a URL - the web service handler endpoint - in the LMS 1 administration area.
The handler section on the receiving end then has to be implemented. I have received an endpoint for some web services on LMS 2,which looks to me like a standard API that LMS 2 exposes.
However, the format of the LMS 1 SOAP message cannot be altered, and needs a custom implementation on the receiving end to interpret and process the result.
A custom SOAP handler has to be implemented on the LMS 2 server, and I have a document that outlines how to implement the handler in detail, as well as sample code for the handler (in ASP.NET).
