I have a simple database in FileMaker 11.0 based on the Invoice Starter Solution. We use this to keep tabs on stock and to put sales through in-store.
We also have a webstore set up using Shopify.com.
At present, if we sell something, wether it be in-store or online, we have to go into the other inventory and update the stock level manually, which is causing to be a bit of a problem.
We also have to input every web order into the FileMaker system manually.
What we want to do is to integrate the inventories so when we make a sale, the stock level on the other system will update either automatically or within the click of a button or two.
We also want webstore orders to automatically get added to the invoice section on the FileMaker database.
On top of this we are looking at a number of things that need doing to make the Filemaker database a little more user friendly.
And finally we are also looking at potentially using the FileMaker system as a till, using a USB cash...
