I have a variety of interview transcriptions created from on-camera interviews. I'm trying to clean them up for use in a book.
The transcription files are full of timecode marks and have basic grammar and a few spelling typos.
The total wordcount of all the files that need to be edited/cleaned-up is around 100,000 words. I'd say grammar and spelling wise, the documents are 95% there. A lot of this job is removing the timecode and cleaning things up, fixing spelling (most could be done witha simple spellcheck).
This job requires someone with excellent written English skills.
Things you would need to do:
-Remove timecode marks
-Change 'Interviewer' to initials of interviewer, and add initials for each interviewee to signal when they're talking.
-Use best judgement to break up paragraphs and sentences so there aren't any run-ons and things make grammatical sense.
