I'm launching a marketing program aimed at elementary and secondary schools (K-12) in the USA. The program aims to makeover an entire school with integrated classroom technology (interactive whiteboards, projectors, wireless microphones, document cameras, multi-media and administrative control, and other relevant instructional technology). For those in the USA, the concept is similar to the Extreme Home Makeover TV show.
The program is called "Calypso Systems School Tech Mash-Up." For those unfamiliar with the term "mash-up," it's typically referred to in music recording where a producer mixes two (or more) disparate songs to make a cool new style of music/song. Basically, the new song is a fresher, hipper rendition of either of the ingredient songs on their own.
The Tech Mash-Up promotion aims to bring that concept to K-12 education technology. We're recruiting some other education technology manufacturers to partner with us to "mash-up" classrooms in an entire school.
