We require 100 machine embroidery tips and hints. Please note that these tips are for MACHINE embroidery not hand embroidery. We prefer applicants who have experience with machine embroidery although it is not an absolute requirement.

#1: Use paper scissors
Stabilizers can be harsh on fabric scissors and you may find that after time they go blunt. Use paper scissors to cut your stabilizer and keep your best scissors for cutting fabrics.
#2: Pre-shrink your stabilizers
Some stabilizers can shrink when exposed to a hot steam iron so test a small piece of the stabilizer under a hot steam iron before using. (Ensure that you don't do this on the dissolvable types of stabilizers.) If the stabilizer shrinks then you may need to pre-shrink your stabilizer before using on projects.
