The next step is now to plug the Active Directory.
It can be done in 3 Milestones.
A customer logs in.
He calls PullsIdentities and passes several arguments:
- His tokenID
- The domainID that he is willing to read.
- The class of object he is willing to get (Person or Group)
- The list of attributes that he wants to retrieve.
The serverside code lookups the database and gets the connection informations to connect to the LDAP Directory.
It connects to the Active Directory, makes an LDAP query and retrieves the objects with their attributes.
It returns the data back to the customer.
2. Push Identities:
Similar to PullIdentities, but this time, it writes to the Active Directory.
If the object exists, it updates it, else it creates it.
To retrieve more than 1000 objects, you should set the property PageSize (ex: [obscured] /p/1309400/2574771.aspx)
