We use Ubiquiti brand radios for our wireless network. Ubiquiti has a new product ( AirMax / AirOS ) which is Linux based and they supply their SDK with toolchain to compile for their hardware. We want to run this on an ALIX board using their miniPCI radio cards.
We currently run using a debian build with madwifi drivers. We want to take advantage of the new AirMAX polling driver on our ALIX single board computers.
2nd part of project is to compile quagga routing into the firmware that runs on the Ubiquiti hardware .
