I am building an iPad app and corresponding web backend for a new product.
The backend will do all the heavy lifting: manage user accounts and data, manipulate content, and provide content to the app. The app will act as a viewer for the data with some limited caching (no syncing).
Are you experienced and proficient at both backends (e.g. PHP, ruby, etc) and the front-end?
For the iOS work, do you build in native iOS or do you wrap HTML/CSS views? For example, do you typically use phone gap or similar, or write natively?
Do you typically prefer to work on an hourly basis, or a per project basis? I can provide a decent spec and set of wireframes that should provide a fairly good sense for the full set of work.
Regardless of the payment approach, I'd like to work with someone in a fairly "agile" methodology, with weekly sprints and deliverables. Would that be that acceptable for you?
