Project is to demonstrate sending camera data coming into the V4L2 stack in linux through OpenGL for geometric transformation before being forwarded up to clients of V4L2. For example - take incoming video and map it onto a complex 3d surface. Although this can easily be done in user space, this project requires doing the transform before the data leaves the V4L2 stack
- Development of a kernel<->user space interface for passing frames between V4L2 and a user space OpenGL daemon
- Development of a trivial user space daemon to texture a complex surface with the incoming frames and then return that result back to the V4L2 stack.
