This project should analyze these aspects of tcp packets on a Linux (CentOS 5.x and 6.x) system. The script should be able to locate the Ethernet connections whether it is on hardware or virtual. This aspect could be an option of the script so for example: traffic.sh eth0, traffic.sh eth1 or traffic.sh venet0 so that you can select the Ethernet connection.

The data that needs to be collected is Col (packet collisions), Err( total number of packet errors), OutDis(packets that are outbound and discarded), InDIs (packets that are inbound and discarded), OutErr (packets that are outbound and errors) and InErr (packets that are inbound and errors).

The output needs to be on one line and include these fields:

Col <num of collisions> Err <num of pkt errors> OutDis <num out discards> InDis <num indiscards> OutErr <outbound errors> InErr <inbound errors>
