I have a 2003 Excel spreadsheet (dashboard) containing VBA code and some user forms. My customers will use this dashboard to download information from my website. My dashboard contains about 500 pages of VBA code spread across 26 modules and 27 user forms. Of this, I need approximately 25 pages of VBA code, and their associated User Forms, converted to a VB.NET developed DLL (or other file type you suggest) that can interface with Excel.
In other words, I want to retain the great majority of the VBA that is currently used by my spreadsheet. But, since VBA has no security, I need particular portions of my VBA code converted. This means that Excel and a DLL, for example, need to work together in running code and in displaying forms. Excel runs my non-critical code, which you shouldn’t need to modify, while the procedures you develop run security-critical code. (I have identified the specific portions of VBA code that need conversion in the following section.)
