In next months I want to collect "completed ebay auctions" in a specific category and a specific word in the title.
Do you have an idea how to do this? My idea is:
I need 2 simple Perl script:
1. script runs on a web server once a day via cron job (runtime limit 30 seconds)
It should enumerate all items on [obscured] in a specific category with a specific search therm in the title, and store itemID, title, price (Buy It Now), time in a text file.
2. script runs on my local computer once a week (no runtime limit)
It checks all stored itemID's if the auction is completed, and get the final price (and store this in the text file).
If you are familar with the ebay API, then $100-$200 should a goof price for this work.
Thank you for your bid.
