This project is to design a case for the Raspberry Pi   [obscured]  /   [obscured]  /wiki/Raspberry_Pi

The Raspberry Pi is a very small, credit card sized computer that costs only $35 however, it is supplied without a case. A number of cases have appeared on the market using a number of different designs   [obscured]  /RPi_Cases

This project is to design a case for the Raspberry Pi using 3d printing. There are a couple of designs currently on shapeways.com however they are not very imaginative. The objective of this project is to produce a design that really shows off the capabilities of 3d printing and could only be made by 3d printing.

I am looking for a design where the shape is complex and intricate (but not too fragile) and looks more like something organic than something engineered. I am interested in a case that is inspired by radiolarian   [obscured]  /2HC2F a design that looks complex but uses very little plastic as the price of a 3d printed object depends on the quantit...
