I have a fairly endless stream of this kind of work on the way. I'd like to outsource all of it. (hint, hint) But I need to do the first few dozen on my own.
This posting is simple: I just want someone to tell me how to do this process. I have no problem preparing uncolored .stl 3d files to print but I just don't know much about dealing with color on 3d files. I'd like to pay someone a few bucks to tell me how do these few simple steps. I have 3D Coat, Rhino, Meshlab. I'm proficient in Photoshop and fairly so in Rhino. But not so much in 3D Coat and Meshlab. (Meshlab is free online and a 30-day, fully-functional version of 3D Coat is downloadable too.) Please tell me how to prepare these files in one of the above or some other free software. --Fixed price is fine, $40.?
