I am looking for an experienced engineer to claculate the pressure losses ( in Kpa) through a simple pipe system.
The pipework includes approx.
36m length of steel pipe DN100 std wt
10 x 90degree elbows
1 x 3-way mixing valve
6 x butterfly valves and
1x non return valve
Flow medium: Water with corrosion inhibitor added.
Operating temperature = 60-80C.
Flow rate: 21 L/Sec.
Viscosity: To be estimated.
I can provide basic geometry of the pipe through 3d & 2d sketches for clarity.
I will require proof of method, i.e model or spreadsheets or calculations used to determine this pressure loss. An online calculator will not be accepted.
Delivery required: by no later than Tuesday 22/11/11.
