I have a formula made of household chemicals (alcohol, vinegar, H2O2, etc.) which I use to cure my dog of ear infections. (My dog has long ears and has had them for most of her puppy years.) I would like to improve the formula so it has a long shelf life and does not smell by substituting other materials (ie maybe Boric Acid for Acetic Acid?)and also any improvements which you suggest. I am thinking of trying to sell it as a pet product.
I would like to know that it will remain stable also and have a shelf life of at least one year. Also, if we substitute, I would like to make sure the pH remains close to what it is now because the pH may be one of the reasons it works.
Let me know if you have any questions and thank you.
