I have a number of articles defining the distributions of respondents to a validated survey. Respondents' scores vary based on their characteristics - I would like to create 'norming tables' to standardize raw scores based on respondent characteristics.
The articles will contain distribution statistics (means, standard deviations etc.) on the measure for samples who belong to a set of predefined norming groups. These sample distributions will be used to estimate the populations (norming groups). Two central questions are 1) How will these samples be combined to estimate the population distribution for each norming group? and 2) How will the norming tables be organized (i.e., what will they contain so that standard scores can be looked up)?
