This job entails setting up a very specific server configuration on Amazon Web Services that would make it as easy to deploy my company's custom application to AWS as it would be to deploy it to Heroku or Engine Yard.
Specifically, the developer would have to setup an embedded Neo4j database. More importantly, the developer would need to create a custom AMI which can be used in one of the following ways:
1. Configure the server as its own Git repository that can deploy code by simply having the code pushed to the server similar to Heroku.
2. Create an AMI which can be used with Elastic Beanstalk, in which case there would be no need to set up custom load balancing; however, this is ONLY an option if the developer knows how to configure Elastic Beanstalk to use Spot Requests when in needs to auto-scale rather than On-Demand instances.
