This is a part that we have modeled in Solidworks. It is a plastic case that houses two small circuit boards. The original part is made of plastic, but the customer wants to make a new one out of aluminum. In doing so, there will need to be two changes to its design:
1) Instead of a "snap together' fit, there need to be holes on all 4 sides so that the case can be bolted together. We want to use 0-80 size socket head screws similar to here: [obscured] /0-80-Miniature-Socket-Screw-pieces/dp/B003POKEUO , so the part will need to be modified to incorporate larger screws.
2) The large rectangular hole in the top half contained a removable heat sink. We wish to fill in the hole and incorporate the heat sink onto the part itself. The heat sink should be "cross cut" as seen here: [obscured] /t/HPI-SPRINT-2-DRIFT-2-4GHz-CAMARO-106627-FLUX-VAPOR-BRUSHLESS-WATERPROOF-ESC-NE-/00/s/Mzc1WDUwMA==/$(KGrHqV,!pcE-v8GkcE,BP1g+1nrjg~~60_12.JPG
