What I have: I have a very simple RoR 3 application where a user can launch a Flash file to create an image and save it. I need help understanding why the save code is not working. I verified that the correct rails controller is accessed upon save but I am not sure where to grab the image contents from. The Content Header shows the correct data length.

At this point I just want to save the file to public/uploads using the file name sent from Flash.

I would also like an example of sending parameters into Flash like user id, session id having these get passed back to Rails when saving.

Files of interest:
Main.as should be all you need to look at. This contains the code to push the image data to rails. Refer to the saveHandler method.

designs_controller.rb contains the controller accessed when saved.

This is just a basic start RoR project so there is nothing glamorous in it.
