My company is creating a consumer product (a toy) and we have a physical model of the enclosure. We need help assembling a works-like version of our electronics for demonstrations.
The electronics are as follows:
1) A bluetooth speaker/microphone that supports the A2DP protocol
2) A set of LEDs that react when the speaker plays high-frequency sounds
3) A small motor that reacts when the speaker plays low-frequency sounds
I believe this can be accomplished by modifying an off-the-shelf bluetooth speakerphone so that you tap the voltage going out to the speaker, and connect the LEDs to a high-pass filter and the motor to a low-pass filter.
The desired behavior can be seen in the attached video with two exceptions: 1) The bluetooth setup in the video was a speaker only, and (although the motor and LEDs only need to respond to the audio-out) our toy needs to support audio in both directions over bluetooth. 2) The LEDs and motor in the video are both on a low-pass filter.
