Reposting an earlier project but without the earlier hardware requirements. We need a simple example project written in Visual Basic 2008 (Visual Studio Express 2008) that can be used as a template to incorporate the same functionality into a larger, existing project that we have developed. Specifically, the example project should have one MS Chart object set up for "Fastline" (covers top half of screen in our real project) and one timer control.

The timer control ticks every 1s, and at each tick the values of 3 separate global variables are updated (can use a random number generator for this example, but in the real world data comes from reading hardware A/D converters and acquiring data from a serial port). These three "Y" values must be plotted on the chart as they come in, and the chart must scroll in time once the data reaches the right end of the graph.
