Start-up Professional Services Firm is seeking a freelance Document Preparation and Review Legal Assistant for Document Discovery Support and Document Demand Assistance. Duties to include review of client investment statements and correspondence, communication with opposing counsel on discovery demands, drafting documents, filing claims, negotiating cases, legal research and administrative support. You must have legal writing experience, preferably in the area of Securities Law. You must be able to speak English fluently and communicate with legal professionals as needed. You must be a self starter and be deadline oriented. You must be able to work in an entrepreneurial setting. This is an ideal role for someone who is interested in a project role initially with potential to increase workload significantly.
