I am developing a client/server application that needs to authenticate bi-directionally using X.509 certificates. Futhrermore messages exchanged between the client and server need to be signed using ECDSA.
Practically all the code is written already but I need help with the following:
a) Import an ECDSA private key from a keypair created using OpenSSL. The key is stored in a .PEM file.
b) In reference to the private key in (a), I need to import the ECDSA public key from the X.509 certificate. This certificate is stored in a .PEM file.
c) Based on information contained in the certificate, I need to determine the EC named curve in use.
I need to do this in C++ using Crypto++ on Windows platforms. Also, I need to do the same on BlackBerry platforms using the BlackBerry security APIs.
