I'm launching a novel later this year. I'm looking for a freelance social media person. They'll generate followers on Twitter and Facebook to promote the book.
The job would require regular postings to both, working closely with me to respond to queries from fans, and generally making sure that as many people hear about the book as possible - and know where to buy it, as well as why they should.
I have a budget, but I'm a lone writer, so it's not enormous: a set fee of $500. You won't have to work full-time, I promise. I'm looking to run this role for plus-minus a month.
Keep the following in mind:
- Don't even think of applying unless your English is perfect. To do this job, it has to be.
- Literary campaign experience not essential, but a definite plus.
- If we progress to a chat, come with ideas. Tell me how you'd do it. Give me some examples. Come saying "I are good at social media kthxbai" with no concrete ideas, and we're not going to be able to do business.
