I have a very interesting and challenging AIR project for a super skilled developer. I am working on building a tool that will help jujitsu event organizers manage the individual matches. The idea is to have a computer at each mat (where the athletes play) with an AIR application. This AIR application will talk to a web server through an API I'm building to record scores, manage the individual matches, and here's the kicker -- talk to Adobe Live Media Encoder (installed on the local machine) to record the match.
I've attached some sketches for the individual pages so you can get an idea of what it will do. The key part (and the most difficult in my view) is the ability to tell FLME to start/stop recording the individual matches, send live data to the web server, and allow for a mass file upload (through FTP) at the end of the match to put the videos on the video server. This app will not live stream. It will just save the files locally and then upload at the end.
