As I've had the opportunity to travel the globe and visit with many senior leaders of corporate and government world, I found that there are two common themes that seem to crop up in most conversations. They are: 1) are the strategies that we are putting in place today the right strategies that will build and lead to sustainable growth in the future. This implies of course that those strategies have underlying tactics that are measurable and can be executed. Because in the end it's always about execution. Most leaders would say I would rather have a "B" strategy executed violently today than an "A" strategy executed flawlessly sometime in the future. 2) The second thing that comes up in these conversations is really about leadership.
