ELANCE JOB: STRUCTURAL ANALYSIS - WIND LOAD
Looking for a structural engineer to analyze this reinforced concrete structure for wind loads only.
The structure is a storm shelter made from reinforced concrete shells as shown in attached cross-section figure. It is being subjected to high velocity wind loading.
Additional data would be supplied as needed. Structure is a rotated surface.
Require a maximum 20 day turn around after the project is awarded.
Provide a partial structural analysis of this structure under wind load.
1) Provide wind loading forces on the structure.
2) Determine the pier design, (length, diameter, rebar, etc...) for a total of 8 piers.
3) Provide a pier design matrix (Table) versus wind velocity, with wind speeds ranging from 0 to 400 mph.
