I am looking for advice from a qualified accountant on the following...
I am a UK resident who will shortly be launching a product for sale in the USA, and later worldwide. I am looking for the most tax-efficient way to create and run a business under which to operate. The two main options are:
1. Form an LLC in the USA, pay personal income tax to the IRS and receive a credit on my UK taxes. I need details on what this UK credit would be.
2. Form an LTD company in the UK and combine my UK tax payments for this company with my current salaried job.
There may well be other options too. If you are able to explain the specific costs/benefits of the available options and the best overall strategy, please get in touch. UK or USA based accountants would be best suited to advise me.
