Looking for someone to figure out why a custom-built Java application works correctly on Windows but doesn't on Mac OS X. I have a website that uses the app to print a file for customers. Works well on Windows, but on Mac only part of the file prints. It's a downloadable jar file; I've been told it's a "swing" app.
Aside from having a Mac, experience with apps, and knowledge of Java, experience with PDF libraries might be helpful.
Since I can't fund open-ended research and development, what I have in mind is: For knowledgeable candidates to create a short list of likely/plausible bugs, and to pursue those solutions using trial & error and experimentation. I'd like to methodically keep track of what leads have been pursued and what specific fixes have been tried.
If you have a natural and genuine interest in Java apps, this job is for you!
